70 METRE TRUCK MOUNTED CHERRY PICKER HIRE IN NEWCASTLE

This 70 metre Truck Mounted Access Platform was hired for a unique internal project in Newcastle. Our client required access to complete the installation of an internal Man Basket that will be used to complete longer term maintenance within this Newcastle based warehouse.

With no self-propelled boom equipment tall enough to complete the task in hand, the only option was to turn to a heavy duty Truck Mounted Access Platform supplied with IPAF trained operator.

The Wumag WT700 Platform provided safe access for engineers to complete their electrical cable installation works for the Man Basket which run on a service track across the roof of the building. The team also installed stoppers to prevent the Man Basket working beyond its design criteria.

Demonstrating its versatility of up and over outreach at great height, the truck mounted platform worked above various fixed objects within the building and proved to be the only type of access equipment that could get the job done.
