Blade Access recently supported a major cladding project in Sheffield using one of our Palfinger P480NX Truck Mounted Platform, providing safe and efficient access at height within a carefully managed exclusion zone.
With a working height of 48 metres and industry-leading outreach capabilities, the Palfinger P480NX is ideal for building envelopes. Its precision controls and compact footprint allow for operation in confined urban environments while maintaining maximum stability and safety.
The cladding works required consistent high-level access, and the P480NX’s large work basket with a safe working load of 600kg enabled multiple personnel to carry out tasks simultaneously, with ample space for tools and materials. The establishment of a secure exclusion zone ensured the safety of site personnel and the public throughout the operation.
