When essential repairs are needed on a historic landmark like Hull Guildhall, safe and precise access is critical. Blade Access was proud to support this project by supplying one of our Palfinger P480NX 48m Truck Mounted Platform, enabling high-level works to be carried out safely and efficiently.
With restricted access in the busy Hull city centre and delicate architecture to protect, this site required a specialist solution. The P480NX was the perfect choice, offering impressive vertical reach and outreach while maintaining stability and control in a tight working environment.
Our planning team completed a full site assessment to ensure the platform could be set up safely with minimal disruption to the public and surrounding buildings, combined with a specific demarcated drop zone and a fully authorised and permitted road closure to maximise efficiency and safety. Once in position, our experienced operator worked closely with the client to complete the task with maximum efficiency and care.
From the ground up, this project demonstrated how expert planning, skilled operation and the right equipment come together to deliver reliable results, even in complex environments.
At Blade Access, we continue to support construction, heritage and infrastructure projects across the UK with specialist truck mounted platform hire and a commitment to safety and precision at every stage.
Supported by a national network and dedicated local teams, Blade Access provides tailored, responsive solutions across the UK, ensuring that client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
