Effective bird control at height requires safe access, careful planning, and the right equipment to get teams exactly where they need to be. Blade Access recently supported a specialist pest control team with the installation of Bird Free Gel Pots to deter pigeons from roosting on a high-level structure, using one of our GSR 220TJ Truck Mounted Platforms at King’s Cross Station, London.
The nature of the works required precise positioning and safe access to awkward, elevated areas where pigeons had been roosting. Our 22m GSR platform provided the ideal solution, offering excellent outreach and manoeuvrability while maintaining stability throughout the operation. This enabled the pest control team to carry out the installation efficiently and safely, reducing the risk of disturbance to the surrounding area.
Our team carried out full site planning prior to arrival, ensuring safe setup, clearly defined working zones, and smooth coordination with the client and contractors on site. Once in position, the platform provided reliable, flexible access to complete the works to a high standard.
Supported by a national network and dedicated local teams, Blade Access provides tailored, responsive solutions across the UK, ensuring that client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
