One of our Jumbo class Truck Mounted Cherry Pickers was hired in Sheffield recently to assist with mobile telephone upgrade works. We were contacted by our client to provide both the Access Platform and Traffic Management solution to enable safe working at height for engineers.
A member of our northern surveying team was deployed to site and subsequently completed a detailed assessment of the proposed work site including accurate measurements. The surveyor then closely liaised with our AutoCAD drawing team to generate the safest and most cost effective solution to the task. Once the scheme was agreed and drawn, our traffic management team obtained agreement and all necessary permits with the local highways department.
The 53m Truck Mounted Cherry Picker made easy work of the roads gradient and could easily be rigged within the safe work zone created by Blade Traffic Management.
Following a full site audit, Blade Access and our Traffic Management division were given the seal of approval and went on to complete yet another safe and well planned work site.
