Our Cherry Picker hire team recently deployed a 70m Truck Mounted Platform Hire from our London depot for a client who installs cavity wall insulation on aging buildings. The Truck Mounted Platform was used to span over garden areas and reach all areas on each of the buildings elevations. Our client then pumped the insulation in to the building through key points on the walls.
Cavity wall insulation is used to reduce heat loss through a cavity wall by filling the air space with material that inhibits heat transfer. This immobilises the air within the cavity preventing convection, and can substantially reduce space heating costs.
The installation on this London based site was quick and cost effective thanks to the safe working at height method deployed. The 70m Truck Mounted Platform could effortlessly traverse across the building allowing easy and comfortable work access for our client.
