Once you have selected the platform you would like to hire simply telephone us or submit an online enquiry and we will take care of the rest. If you are unsure which platform would best suit your working at height application Blade would be more than happy to offer advice or if necessary, undertake a completely free site survey
Whilst there is no legal requirement to wear a Harness, both the International Powered Access Federation and the Health and Safety Executive strongly advise and recommend that a full body harness complete with a short restraint lanyard is used when working from a vehicle mounted boom or self-propelled boom type MEWP.
If you require a new body harness complete with restraint lanyard just let us know. We have these available for collection or alternatively we can add these to your platform rental order and deliver to site with your hired equipment.

Yes, we hire equipment throughout the whole of the UK. Our strategically located dispatch depots can get your hired equipment to site even at short notice. Our central hire desk will take care of all your requirements and ensure you are working safely at height with minimal fuss.
A selection of our access platforms are certified to lift and can greatly increase safety and efficiency on site. Please contact us with your site requirements and our team will advise on the most suitable equipment to assist your working at height installation/maintenance works.
The only way a platform can be booked for hire is with an official purchase order. Unfortunately, we can not verbally reserve platforms. We can however accept orders up to 90 days in advance of the hire commencement date.
When you would like to off-hire your rental platform simply call 0845 1 900 800 and obtain your unique off hire reference number. If your equipment is self-operated, we will then arrange collection of the equipment from site with you. It is important to remember, your unique off hire reference number is your evidence that the hire has been terminated. Please keep this safe until your hire invoice is paid.
